The gasket’s surfaces are cleaned thoroughly to ensure a tight seal. If needed, a gasket scraper can eliminate any stubborn remnants. A fresh gasket is fitted, ensuring it is accurately lined up with the bolt holes. If the manufacturer suggests it, apply a thin layer of gasket sealant.

Reassemble and Refill: The new gasket is reinstalling the transmission pan, with bolts fastened diagonally per the manufacturer’s guidelines for even pressure and to avoid leaks. Next, we replace the transmission fluid with the appropriate type and amount specified by the vehicle manufacturer. After refilling, the fluid level is inspected, and more fluid is included if needed.

Final Check and Documentation: Following the service’s completion, we conduct a road test to confirm the transmission’s functionality. We also confirm the fluid level is correct and check for leaks. The fluid replacement service is recorded, detailing the type and amount of fluid used, filters changed, and any observations noted during the process.
