Clutch Component Replacement: When it’s time to swap out parts, we install a new clutch disc and pressure plate, following Hummer’s guidelines to ensure everything is positioned perfectly. We also replace the pilot and release bearings to avoid any future issues.

Flywheel Resurfacing/Replacement: If the flywheel shows signs of wear or damage, we will resurface it to restore a smooth and uniform surface. If resurfacing is not an option, we will exchange the flywheel for a brand-new one to ensure optimal interaction among the clutch parts. Reassembly of Transmission: After replacing the necessary clutching components, we rebuild the Hummer transmission before fixing it back to the engine in the right position. We also reconnect the driveshaft, shift linkage and then the various electrical connections. The pilot tool is used to align the pressure plate properly before tightening the bolts in a star pattern to ensure even pressure distribution and prevent warping of the part.

Hydraulic System Bleeding: To guarantee proper clutch operation, we purge the hydraulic system to eliminate any air bubbles that could have developed after the repair or replacement. This stage guarantees even pressure within the system, resulting in a clutch pedal feel that is both responsive and smooth.
